The process to influence someone can be very simple. Here’s a very subtle way to influence someone to be more honest, sincere and humble.

The Two Step Influence Process

Step 1.  Mention someone you admire.

Step 2. Mention the positive qualities you admire in that person, humility, honesty, genuineness, sincerity, thoughtfulness, etc.

It works by introducing qualities (humility, honesty, genuineness, sincerity, thoughtfulness, etc. ) into the other persons awareness they were not thinking about.  Because these are generally agreed upon positive qualities no one will discount them. The other person will now be aware that these are qualities you value. They will unconsciously begin to filter their communication with you through those values.
